Joanna Carr-Will joined the Great Britain Lionesses after playing for her club at Wakefield Panthers and Yorkshire. Joanna was called up for the GB Lionesses squad, playing in the position of full back, second row and loose forward, to play the 1996 tour to Australia where she scored 5 tries. Joanna then went on to join the GB Lionesses tour to New Zealand in 1998, during which she scored 2 tries.
